Heat Shrink Tubing
Heat Shrink Tubing is a 'standard' Hejet™ heat gun application. Heat shrink tubing is simply a wire insulation process. Far less time consuming and far more cost-effective than using electrical tape, heat shrink tubing only requires a modest amount of heat that causes the plastic tubing to shrink. Hejet™ heat guns have an attachment that causes the hot air gun to circulate hot air in a circular motion for even shrinkage. Even shrinkage ensures better insulation and better appearance of heat shrink parts.

Soldering and de-soldering
Use Hejet™ heat guns for soldering termination for individual soldering connections or groups of soldered connections being terminated in an encased connection (often in a plastic sleeve much like those used for heat shrink tubing).

Hejet™ heat guns are suited for soldering and desoldering, heating temperature sensitive materials, bending and forming plastics, curing resins, drying filler and shrinking tubing.
